Catalysts' evolution

1989 - 2009 20 Years of ServiceCatalysts Ltd first emerged as an independent business in 1989 in a buy out from South East Computers Ltd, an IBM System Centre and Novell System House. The company was incorporated in 1990 as Catalyst Electronic Publishing Ltd and the name was later changed to Catalysts Ltd.

The business is a specialist systems integrator working primarily with commercial and corporate publishers designing, building, servicing and supporting on- and off-line publications and other information systems.

In the decades since incorporation Catalysts has sought, found and secured successful partnerships with a number of suppliers in order to be able to deliver our customers the systems and support that they require. We continue to do so as we attempt to anticipate our customers' needs in the rapidly changing world of IT and digital publishing.
