If you want to publish online but avoid a major investment in the hardware, software and resources required to set up and maintain the service yourselves then this will suit your needs.
Catalysts offers two versions of a managed, hosted publishing system to which you can subscribe on a quarterly basis (min 12 months contract).
The Basic Option – comprises the following modules:
- A document management system where you can store and manage all your content.
- A publication composition module where you can select and order the documents in the document management system ready for publication.
- A choice of portals within which to deliver your publications and other content, such as news, RSS feeds, polls downloads etc.
- A choice of publication delivery modules providing search and navigation by table of content or taxonomy.
The Custom Option – is also a Catalysts managed option but where the Publisher can have Catalysts configure a system to their specification. In effect, it is a hosted version of Catalysts Integrated Publishing Service but one that the Publisher can buy on a subscription basis.
