Sage, a major publisher in research methods, has launched methodspace.com as a social networking site for the online community of researchers. The site has a Facebook presence and can be followed on Twitter as well. Members can join discussion forums on careers, homelessness research, research ethics and other topics.
Sage, which has been involved in the research business for over 40 years, said: "methodspace.com will enable connections and dialogue, without any restrictions on discipline or geography. The site has a growing community of international researchers, university lecturers and postgraduate students from around the world."
Ziyad Marar, deputy managing director and publishing director of Sage added, "We intend that methodspace.com should be the online hub for research methods, with the community driving the discussions and debates. Whether you are looking for resources in research methods, want to discuss a particular approach, or just connect with other researchers in a particular field, methodspace.com aims to be the first place that any professor, researcher or student will turn."
