KnowledgeTree speaks in Japanese Print E-mail

KnowledgeTree have added Japanese to the French, German and Italian versions of their open-source document management suite. The stimulus for this was the up-coming March 09 compliance deadline for the financial instrument exchange Law (J-SOX). Exxxaxon have worked with KnowledgeTree on this project.

KnowledgeTree described the new application as providing detailed auditing of all document activities, records management functionality, and flexible role or group-based security settings to control document access and permissible document actions. The J-SOX law was passed to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting of Japanese companies and it comes into effect after the fiscal year ending March 2009.

KnowledgeTree is an open source document management software package which is designed for business people to use and install. It is claimed to seamlessly connect people, ideas and processes to satisfy all collaboration, compliance and business process requirements. KnowledgeTree runs on Windows and Linux platforms.
