When Catalysts were preparing to move out of their Witney office and become a 'virtual' business they faced a number of issues such as how to reorganise their phone system, where to hold team meetings and what to do with their paper records.

These were mainly Accounts files containing purchase and copy sales invoices. Six years' of these plus other documents have to be kept in hard copy format but where to store them? This is where VFiler from Vircosoft came in and just at the right time.

Catalysts were assessing whether or not to become a VFiler partner and what better 'trial' than to scan and file the records for everyday access - meaning the hard copy could be stored and available only if absolutely essential (at Storagebase in Banbury).

So one of the team was assigned to the task and soon mastered the art using our Konica Minolta C253 multipurpose printer, scanner, copier and fax machine linked into VFiler. In a matter of just a couple of days the job was done with little or no hassle. (By the way we no longer need the KM C253 if anyone is interested in picking up the contract!) Catalysts' exit from Witney was made easier by VFiler.
